Op 8 december is de nieuwe site voor de ASL BiSL Foundation live gegaan (precies op tijd voor het 9de ASL BiSL Jaarcongres). De ASL BiSL Foundation (vh de stichting ASL Foundation) beheert sinds enkele jaren het ASL- en BiSL-gedachtengoed en draagt dat verder uit. De stichting beoogt daarmee business en IT dichter bij elkaar te brengen.
De ASL BiSL Foundation had natuurlijk al een website, maar deze was nog gebaseerd Joomla versie 1.0. De inhoud van de oude site is gemigreerd naar een nieuwere Joomla versie. Ook is de vormgeving herzien en vernieuwd, navigatie verbeterd en zijn sociale media geïntegreerd (twitter display, youtube-channel weergave en social-share mogelijkheden).
Tot 6 augustus 1991 bestond er geen enkele webpagina, want het wwweb was er nog niet. Er werd aan gesleuteld, er was mail, maar het web moest nog komen. Tot op 6 augustus de allereerste pagina werd verstuurd door Tim Berners-Lee, projectleider bij European Organization for Nuclear Research van CERN.

VIK Design is live. Bij VIK Design ontwerp je zelf je dekbedovertrek.
Kies de kleur die je mooi vindt en selecteer een afbeelding die past bij je kind. Naast dekbedovertrekken kun je bij VIK Design ander beddengoed en canvas-schilderijtjes met dezelfde ontwerpen als de dekbedovertrekken kopen.
Bij het maken van de site is zeer veel tijd besteed aan vormgeving en functionaliteit. Zo kun je, van je te ontwerpen dekbed, een live voorvertoning zien - hiervoor is volledig gebruik gemaakt van php en javascript (gebruik van flash is vermeden).

Kiki Heessels is a cabaret artist who also performs for children. In 2007 she toured with ‘Van Hier tot Gunder’ and in the fall of 2010 whe will start touring with her new en in het najaar van 2010 zal ze het land in gaan met haar nieuwste program ‘Tophit’.

The site for "Jasjes &Zo" (Jackets and More) went live today.
Jolet Uilenberg specializes in making designer jackets (winter) coats of all shapes and sizes using beautifull fabrics. She has a love for stylish clothes that speaks from her designs. On the site presents an overview of her work to her potential customers.

Recently the site Celebtweets went live. On this sites the most recent tweets of (mostly) Dutch celeberties are brought together. I wondered how frequently and when the celebs tweet. At first glance politicians are quite active. Femke Halsema even held her first succesfull Twitter-party last Februari. Soccer players tweet littel or not at all, and if they tweed ... all prejudices seem to be confirmed. Nico Dijkshoorn, who is a regular guest on the dayly Dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door, is probably one of the most interesting twitter-users.
On the newssite Welingelichtekringen an LA times article is sited with the title: 'Twitter is voor oude lui'. Twittering does not mean that you're one of the "in-crowd", it means that your one of the "out-crowd". "I don't understand that people send me mails with 'follow me on Twitter'. Why should I know what these people do?", sais a 17 year old. For Michael van Poppel (19) Twitter did have value: he sold his Twitter account (with 1,9 milion followers) to Breaking News.
Finally: a handy tool to store all your pesonal tweets is HootSuite.
